Kate Rebbeck -  Artist 

​ Kate Rebbeck is a full time artists living in County Down in the North of Ireland. Kate has a background in architecture and design (B(Arch)Hons) and has always used her painting and drawing to express her ideas and feelings. She went back to college to study art over 15 years ago at University of Ulster where she

experimented in performance, charcoal drawing and animation. 

Since moving to rural County Down close to Strangford Lough over 10 years ago her work has been influenced by her close relationship with the land. 

She mainly paints 'Plein Air' and draws inspiration from the  beautiful local landscape.  Her work is expressive using mixed media and mark making in layers to capture what she sees and feels in the ever changing  light, cooour and movement.

Kate exhibits regularly witht he 'Loft Artists' as well as showing her work in local galleries and solo shows.
